Ease of use
The covered sun terrace is a great place to relax, and from here you have a wonderful view on the surroundings, including the Kelchsau valley and its surrounding mountains, such as the Markbachjoch, the Feldalphorn and the Schwaigberghorn.
It is almost always windless here, and in combination with the frequent phenomenon of föhn wind in the upper air layers, this ensures plenty of sunshine in our Brixental. You can sit outside in summer and winter. Set up your garden furniture, have a snack, a drink, read a book, sit back and enjoy.
The Lindrainweg is part of several beautiful hiking and cycling routes. In spring, summer and autumn, you (old or young) can take the most beautiful walks from this apartment. Turn right and the forest with waterfalls is 300 meters away. Further uphill, you can reach the top of the Hohe Salve at 1829 meters, where it is fantastic and you can also make beautiful circular walks. But make it yourself easy and take the gondola. And if you’ve seen all of the immediate surroundings, the rest of the region also has a lot to offer. As an officially registered guest of the Ferienregion Hohe Salve – Kitzbüheler Alpen, you will receive the Kitzbüheler Alpen Card for free. With this card you will get great discounts on many activities and excursions. Moreover, with this card you can use public transport in the region free of charge. Trains and buses are available in the Mariastein-Wörgl area, throughout the Brixental and up to Filzmoos. And the train station is practically around the corner: about ten minutes (100 meters) downhill you can reach the “Berglift” train and bus station. The village centre with its shops and restaurants is also within walking distance.
The possibilities for excursions, day trips, various activities, city trips, museums and places of interest are endless, both in summer and winter. In the living room of the apartment there is a large box with brochures that you can browse and get ideas from. Because of all these pleasant extras, Apartment Mariandl is particularly popular amongst adult and senior tourists. Because of the garden location on a steep mountain slope, this location is not suitable for children under the age of 17, according to the assessment of the tourist office.
