Photo album

The Hopfgarten region is blessed with beautiful and above all diverse nature.

Whether you go into the woods, up into the mountains, hike along streams and rivers, visit waterfalls, reservoirs or nature parks, cities, churches or castles, everything is equally beautiful and impressive. In the 25 years that we have lived here, we have experienced and photographed many special things. We think it is informative to give you an impression of the atmosphere you find here by means of a photo album. Therefore, below you will find an extensive photo album of our impressions of the Hopfgarten region.

All photos were taken over the years by ourselves and are not copyrighted. It is only a limited impression. There is much more. Come to Hopfgarten and see for yourself. Have fun browsing through our album.

In our flat there is a big box full of brochures and information about all kinds of trips and activities. And if you are an enthusiastic mountain hiker, you might like to browse Christian’s website, which contains a huge classified collage of the many (nature) walks and climbs that he and I have made in recent decades. Go to www.foehnwind.eu

Go to www.foehnwind.eu Two other mischievous rascals who have always travelled with our family to Hopfgarten from the very beginning are Pooh Bear and his inseparable friends Bear Peep and Raccoon Streeptail. Bear Peep loves mountain climbing, but has one more great passion: He has been travelling all over the world for years and, just like Christian, has his own website with (real) pictures from the most special places on earth. If you want to see where Piep has been, take a look at: “Instagram “Teddy bear abroad”
Piep is now world-famous and gets many reactions from all over the world, which you can all read. Piep has also had many an accident. For example, he fell 100 metres during a photo session at a mountaineering event. A special rescue operation was organised for that; he was lost for weeks after he jumped out of the window and could not be found in the bushes. And Pooh Bear has already spent a large part of the journey to Tyrol with his neck stuck between the electrically closed side window of the car. Pooh Bear loves skiing and as a mascot loves to go on the many skiing trips through the Kitzbuheler Alps. They have always survived the most difficult moments and still come with us to Hopfgarten with great pleasure. You will see them in the photo album from time to time.
